Lighting
Lobelia prefers locations with partial to full sun. In very hot climates, it will benefit from some shade during the hottest hours of the day to maintain optimal flowering.
Watering
Keep the substrate consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water regularly, especially during hot periods. Lobelia does not tolerate prolonged drought well.
Fertilization
Apply a liquid flowering plant fertilizer every 2–3 weeks during the growing season to promote abundant and continuous blooms.
Temperature
Prefers moderate temperatures between 15–24°C (59–75°F). It is sensitive to frost and should be protected when temperatures drop significantly.
